Verse Trade Navigator is a free, community-driven Star Citizen commodity trading tool. This policy explains what information the service processes and how it is used.

Information we process

When you use the website, normal technical information such as IP address, browser information, request time and server logs may be processed for security, rate limiting, troubleshooting and service reliability.

If you submit Star Citizen terminal information, we process the station, commodity values, OCR/review data and related submission metadata needed to update community market observations. Do not submit personal or confidential information in terminal screenshots or notes.

TikTok connection and video posting

If you choose to connect a TikTok account, TikTok will ask you to authorize the permissions shown on its consent screen. Depending on the permissions enabled, Verse Trade Navigator may receive a TikTok account identifier, authorized scopes, access and refresh tokens, and basic account information made available by TikTok.

TikTok credentials and tokens are handled server-side and are not intentionally exposed in public website code. They are used only to maintain the authorized connection and perform TikTok actions you initiate or approve, such as transferring a video to your TikTok account as a draft. Video files selected for TikTok transfer are processed only as necessary to complete that transfer.

How information is used

Information is used to operate the route planner, maintain community market observations, secure and troubleshoot the service, maintain authorized integrations, and carry out user-requested features.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information is shared with service providers only where needed to operate the service. When you use the TikTok integration, relevant data and media are sent to TikTok in accordance with your authorization and TikTok's own terms and privacy practices.

Storage and retention

Community market observations may be retained as part of market history. Operational logs are retained only as reasonably necessary for security and troubleshooting. TikTok authorization data is retained while the integration remains connected or as needed to complete authorized operations, and may be removed when access is revoked or the connection is deleted.

Your choices

You may choose not to connect TikTok. You may revoke TikTok authorization through TikTok's account or authorization controls. Revoking access prevents future API actions that require that authorization.

Security

Reasonable technical measures are used to protect credentials and service data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so users should never submit passwords, private keys or other secrets through public upload or text fields.

Children

Verse Trade Navigator is not designed to collect personal information from children. Users of third-party services such as TikTok must also meet those services' applicable age requirements.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when features, integrations or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
